Driver CPC Training

DTR Services Limited, as the only Mercedes Benz CPC Training Associate in Scotland, would like to enquire as to what your Company or you as an individual driver are currently doing regarding Driver CPC.

For LGV/HGV Drivers from the of 9th September 2014 all drivers of Vehicles 3.5T + will have to have carried out 35hours of Driver CPC training to continue driving for Hire or Reward.



For PCV Drivers, this is one year earlier, the 9th of September 2013 and again must be 35 hours of Driver CPC training to continue driving for Hire or Reward.

We are based in Newtongrange, Edinburgh but carry out Driver CPC Training at locations throughout Scotland, including Edinburgh, Glasgow, Falkirk, Perth, Dundee, Aberdeen and Inverness. 

If you have a suitable site, we can even deliver the Driver CPC Training on your own premises; although this will be subject to suitability.

We have 5 Classroom based modules to choose from as well as 2 Vehicle based courses so delegates can put the theory into practice. Please see the Mercedes Benz website below for more details.

The Classroom modules are priced at £90+ VAT, with the Vehicle based courses costing £140 + VAT. For Classroom modules, we can take a maximum of 15 drivers on each module, and 5 on the Vehicle based ones. These prices are negotiable, based on a number of factors, so please call us for individual details.


DTR Services Limited is also able to accept funding via ILA Scotland. This funding can cover the entire cost of 2 modules per year but does depend on the delegates earnings.  This can be done on behalf of a Company or Employer, or can be done on an individual basis.


We are also able to carry out Driver CPC courses on a Saturday to prevent any disruption to your business or your own driving shifts. We are able to do this at all of our available training locations.
